 My name is Joel Espinoza.  I am from Napoleon, OH.  I've been coaching softball for over 10 years starting with rec ball, travel ball, then moving up to assistant Varsity Softball Coach for Napoleon High School, and continuing on with a NW Ohio 10U travel team as an assistant coach. I'm a former USA Umpire and I understand the game from all angles. 

I am excited to Coach for Michigan Mambas 11u softball program and I am eager to develop this team. I’m looking for hard working young ladies that want to grow with the sport and grow into admirable characters of confidence and resilience. If you are looking for a quality team or a new "home", please consider us as a positive option!

At the core of my coaching philosophy lies a commitment to nurturing players' growth, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. I firmly believe that recognizing and celebrating players' efforts and achievements fuels their passion for the game, and that a strong work ethic is within everyone's reach. As a coach, I prioritize providing constructive feedback that acknowledges and encourages hard work.
